Roger and Le met on IRC in 1994 — two people on opposite sides of the Atlantic, connected by a blinking cursor and the early magic of the internet. From that first conversation in the Undernet #Brasil channel, they built a life together: Portugal to the United States and back again.
Roger e Le conheceram-se no IRC em 1994 — duas pessoas em lados opostos do Atlântico, ligadas por um cursor a piscar e pela magia dos primeiros tempos da internet. Dessa primeira conversa no canal #Brasil do Undernet, construíram uma vida juntos: de Portugal para os Estados Unidos e de volta.
Roger went from journalism at Nova Gente to working for major US corporations — Texas Instruments, FedEx, Cisco, the Federal Reserve — always keeping one foot in the world of technology. In 1996, they launched RogerLe.com, a web hosting company born in Dallas, Texas, and never stopped building.
Roger passou do jornalismo na Nova Gente para grandes empresas americanas — Texas Instruments, FedEx, Cisco, Federal Reserve — sempre com um pé no mundo da tecnologia. Em 1996, lançaram a RogerLe.com, uma empresa de alojamento web nascida em Dallas, Texas, e nunca mais pararam de construir.

Today, they travel full-time across Europe in their Benimar motorhome with Jolie, a toy poodle who has been to 23 countries and thinks she runs the show (she does). The business runs from wherever they park, serving clients in the US, Portugal, and Brazil.
Hoje, viajam a tempo inteiro pela Europa na sua autocaravana Benimar com a Jolie, uma caniche toy que já visitou 23 países e acha que manda em tudo (e manda). O negócio funciona onde quer que estacionem, servindo clientes nos EUA, Portugal e Brasil.
